The Dwyer 1950 Series is an explosion-proof differential pressure switch with set points ranging from .03 to 20 inches w.c. (water column). It combines the best features of the popular Dwyer Series 1900 Pressure Switch with an integral explosion-proof and weatherproof housing, providing exceptional value for various applications. The switch is CE, UL, and CSA listed, and FM approved for use in hazardous atmospheres, including Class I, Div 1, Groups C and D, Class II Groups E, F, and G, and Class III locations. It is also rated as raintight NEMA 3 (IP54), featuring weatherproof attributes such as a drain plug and O-ring seal in the cover. Electrical connections are easily facilitated by removing the front cover, and the set point adjustment screw is conveniently located on the outside of the housing for ease of use. Twelve models are available, offering set points from .03 to 20 inches w.c. (0.0075 to 5 kPa) and from .5 to 50 psi (0.035 to 3.5 bar). Despite its robust features, the unit is very light and compact, weighing about half the weight and bulk of other explosion-proof or weather-proof switches with separate enclosures.
