An infrared sensor called the Model OSW-100 Wall Mount Occupancy Sensor is used to automatically regulate an HVAC ventilation system. Short-term occupancies that could cause false triggers are eliminated using a special dual delay processor. With its broad 110° viewing angle, the Model OSW-100 can detect movement as far away as 49.2 feet (15 meters).
