Using an ideal gas formula, the E126-EG monitors the actual flow, temperature, and pressure and converts it to gas volume at reference conditions, such as 0°C/1.013Bar or 14.7 PSI/60°F. It is possible to adjust the reference conditions in the settings. One can adjust a compressibility factor to approximate the behavior of a real gas.
The sturdy E126-EG was made with your safety in mind. Because the environment is frequently far harsher than what is required for explosion proof criteria, it goes beyond just following the guidelines for hazardous area approvals.
