The SineWave Nexus filter from MTE combines common mode protection technology with sinewave filter performance into a single passive device. The SineWave Nexus virtually eliminates common mode voltage, which leads to motor bearing failures, in addition to cleaning the PWM waveform produced by Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs). Motor bearings are never exposed to the dangerous voltages that cause pitting, frosting, or fluting damage that causes motor failure by filtering out the harmful common mode voltage. With the SineWave Nexus, an electrical fix for an electrical issue, you can do away with expensive shaft grounding rings or expensive isolation transformers that need regular maintenance and replacement.
