ATA Bands are aluminium oxide or ceramic coated, lap jointed abrasive bands. The band holders consist of spindle mounted, positive fit expandable drums. This enables the use of higher grinding forces &/or slower speeds than standard drum sanders Uses: Suitable for general surface finishing & deburring applications, especially where access is limited. ALUMINIUM OXIDE Uses: Suitable for use on a wide range of materials from steels to plastics. Particularly effective on non ferrous metals & alloy steels. Grit sizes : 36, 50, 80, 120, 150 (36 grit available for 25 bands and above only as standard)
