A stainless steel measuring cell with thin-film or thick-film wire strain gauges (series PK, PV, PT) and a piezoresistive measuring technique complement the ceramic-capacitive measuring cell, which has been tried and proven millions of times (for pneumatic applications). All of the units have sturdy housings and don't need moving parts like pistons or springs. As a result, the sensors are exceptionally stress and vibration resistant and require no maintenance or wear.
