Under typical circumstances, the corrected differential liquid volume can be computed using the F127 flow computer. The actual line temperature in the supply and return lines, as well as the uncorrected volumetric flow, are measured to compute this. The thermal expansion coefficient algorithm that is stored in the flow computer is used to process these signals. You can provide the appropriate temperature for the reference, such as 15°C, 20°C, or 60°F. In these kinds of applications, pulsing flows, extremely low consumption values, vibration, and high ambient temperatures are typical problems. All of these are well taken care of in the F127's construction and functionality.
The display indicates the real line temperatures as well as the total, accumulated total, and corrected consumption / flow rate. Nm³ and other on-screen engineering units are readily configurable from a wide range of options.
