For liquids with little ionic activity, the SE 558 ultrapure water pH sensor with Memosens digital technology is the best option. Furthermore, the process temperature is precisely compensated for by the incorporated NTC 30K temperature element. To prolong sensor life and avoid junction fouling and contamination, the sensor makes use of three ceramic junctions and a pressurized reference system. The SE 558 sensor is especially well suited for usage in extremely low conductivity conditions. It makes use of a gel KCl reservoir that never needs to be refilled. In light of this, the SE 558 is a less expensive and maintenance-intensive choice than refillable pH sensors.
